We check all of this at a site assessment rather than recommending a specific product before we've seen your property.

Powerwall 3 can be installed alongside new solar or added to some existing systems, depending on your current inverter and switchboard. Backup power during an outage is only available where backup circuits are specifically designed and installed for that purpose — it isn't automatic, and which circuits stay powered is a decision we work through with you before installation, not after.
